What You Will Do
-
Lab Operating Procedure (LOP) Management; provide direction for lab users on established policies
-
Management, coordination and implementation of Environment Health Safety and Sustainment
Property & Metrology Management
-
Perform cost analysis, ensure task completion within approved budgets
-
Provide process support to Supply Chain Management (SCM)
-
Oversee audit/assessment preparation. Overseeing Engineering Lab Objective Evaluation and Voluntary Protection Program; develop corrective action plans and assist in the development of long-range objectives, including engineering customer goals

Safeguarding of classified/proprietary material, hardware, and documentation, utilizing defense material/property under Export Administration Regulations
-
This position requires some physical exertion while standing, sitting, or walking, working outside
-
Local travel in the general area may be required, with occasional travel outside the local area

Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 (two) years of relevant engineering services professional experience.

This position requires 12 months or less relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
-
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer

Strong mechanical and/or electrical/electronic skills
-
Experience with OSHA/NFPA industrial policies and regulations
-
Experience with working directly with engineers, technicians and leadership in an engineering lab environment in the areas of safety, security, compliance and property management
-
Experience with EHS, NISPOM, JAFAN and Foreign Object Elimination
-
Ability to build positive, lasting relationships with customers
-
Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
-
Strong understanding and experience with Metrology and calibrations practices and preparing assets for such.
