Job Title: Goods Inwards Operator
Salary: £32,700
Location: Stockton-on-Tees, Cleveland
Contract: Maternity Cover
As a Goods Inwards Operator, you play a crucial role in the supply chain, ensuring that all incoming goods are received, checked, and stored accurately and efficiently.
What you will do:
As a Goods Inwards Operator, your accountable for, but not limited to:
Receiving Goods: Accurately receive and log all incoming shipments, ensuring that delivery documentation matches the actual goods received.
Inspection: Inspect goods for quality and quantity, reporting discrepancies or damages in the correct manner according to the standard work.
Data Entry: Enter received goods into inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels.
Storage Management: Organize and store goods in designated areas, ensuring easy access and compliance with safety regulations.
Inventory Control: Ensure consumables stock is always correct to maintain the MIN/MAX ordering system.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to resolve any issues related to incoming goods and invoice grief.

What You Can Demonstrate:
Fork Lift Truck License
The ability to read, write, comprehend and follow verbal instructions
Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations to perform the duties described above.
Ability to understand standard works and follow direction. Job is performed in accordance with procedures and instructions.
Proficient with the computers

Ability to problem solve and find solutions independently.
Able to work as a team and also communicate effectively with Management.
