MANTECH seeks a
Forensics Intern for their DFEND program in Herndon, VA.
DFEND (Dominion Forensic Engineering and Development) is an internship for students pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Interns receive meaningful, challenging assignments at an individual and group level.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Working five days/week in a real-world lab environment on-site in Herndon, VA.
- Conducting forensics research and development in hardware engineering, programming, reverse engineering, computer forensics and mobile forensics.
- Additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Current full-time student pursuing a BS or MS in CS, CE or a related field with a projected graduation date no earlier than December 2026
- Experience with Python, C# or other scripting languages
- Familiarity with a mix of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux distros)
- Interest in Digital Forensics
- Ability to work on-site in Herndon, VA
Clearance Requirements
- Must possess and Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
