Description:You will be the Industrial Engineer Sr. for the Missiles and Fire Control team. Our team is responsible for analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, implementing lean practices, and ensuring optimal efficiency in our operations.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Industrial Engineer Sr. you will be responsible for leading cross‑functional initiatives that drive productivity, quality, and waste reduction across our manufacturing footprint.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead cross‑functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Drive improvements in productivity and quality.
- Develop layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Conduct time studies and data analysis to uncover bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with supply chain to optimize material flow.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years
of experience in an industrial engineering role
within a manufacturing environment or 3 years
with a Master's Degree.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret
security clearance.
• Extensive experience in developing large layout designs for equipment and workspaces to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Proven track record in work measurement and
time standards.
• Proficiency with various work measurement
techniques such as predetermined motion time
systems (PMTS), work sampling, and direct time
study.
• Extensive experience in continuous
improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma
methodologies.
• Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and
statistical analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems and
manufacturing software.
Desired Skills:• Proficient in using CAD software (e.g.,
AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and
analyzing manufacturing systems.
• Proficiency in using simulation software (e.g.,
Arena, Simul8, FlexSim, SIMIO) to model,
analyze, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Extensive experience in large scale facility space planning activities.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to drive strategic decision-making through clear reporting, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Extensive experience in continuous
improvement initiatives and Lean Six Sigma
methodologies.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
