Description:You will be the Operations Engineer for the Performance Management Team (PMT). Our team is responsible for driving performance excellence across the Dallas Production Operations portfolio.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Operations Engineer you will be responsible for leading the Performance Management Team, partnering with Dallas Operations Center managers and functional leaders to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are achieved through data‑driven decision‑making and continuous‑improvement facilitation.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Coach shop‑floor personnel on Lean, Six‑Sigma, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Track, analyze, and report safety, quality, cost, schedule, and productivity metrics.
- Develop and maintain performance dashboards that visualize key indicators.
- Serve as a liaison between the PMT and Dallas Operations Center leadership, communicating progress, risks, and successes.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, production control, and ESH functions to remove improvement barriers.

Basic Qualifications:• Experience in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills; able to influence without direct authority.
• Effective written and oral communication; able to present complex data to diverse audiences.
Desired Skills:• Proficiency with data‑analysis tools.
• Lean Six‑Sigma certification (preferred).

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
