The Production Control FASt Support is responsible for planning and preparing manufacturing production schedules, assessing changes, and driving continuous process improvements. This role ensures alignment between material availability, production schedules, and customer requirements by working across multiple shop floor and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems.
The Demand Controller tracks material status, identifies and resolves potential production problems, and coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of materials and products. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
2nd Shift 2pm-10:30pm, Monday - Friday
What You Will Do

Prepare work order releases based on the master production schedule, shop load, and inventory requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and Logistics to resolve issues.

Perform escalated expediting when necessary to ensure on-time material delivery.

Track, analyze, and report key metrics to drive system health, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Create and update Kitting Instructions to ensure accurate and efficient material preparation for production.

Directly support the Material Handler Team in Forward Active Staging (FASt) operations.

Maintain inventory control in FASt, including cycle counts, ordering material, and returning excess material or stock to the warehouse.

Manage incoming material and drop zones, ensuring timely induction of material into the software system.

Coordinate between all shifts and communicate major process updates, changes, and improvements to ensure alignment across operations.

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field

Experience in manufacturing processes and environments.

Experience with MRP systems and/or Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Visio).

The salary range for this role is 66,000 USD - 130,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
