Perform daily walk arounds to prior to testing

Receive-in and inspect testing specimens for accuracy
-
Sort priorities as needed
-
Operate multiple creep, stress rupture, and tensile mechanical testing machines for Specimen destructive testing
-
Comply with all training required, including Quality procedures as well as MCL Manuals and Standard Work.

Log testing data in UGA (as needed)
-
Maintain required log books
-
Check/ validate testing accuracy
Other Responsibilities:
-
Perform 6s each shift
-
Engage in process optimization to allow success of production/quality goals while achieving and maintaining cost savings
-
Complete all training within the expected time given
Qualifications You Must Have:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Must be willing to work the scheduled shift and may need to train on an alternate shift. Overtime may be required
-
U.S. Citizenship is required
-
Familiar with micrometer, calipers, microscopes and other measuring equipment.
Qualifications We Value:

Two to five years’ experience in quality/aerospace manufacturing environment.

Technical degree preferred.

Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and quality procedures.

Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
