TRD is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Technician, Engine Build, Cylinder Heads
Key Responsibilities:
Build and prepare production race cylinder heads for final engine assembly used by TRD race teams.
Assemble components to Engineering specifications, following established processes, procedures and quality standards.
Perform detailed measurements, documentation of part / serial numbers and accurate computation for spec and compression ratio confirmation.
Deliver high-quality work, addressing both scheduled and unscheduled tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Operation of Newen and Sunnen style cylinder head machining equipment to precise tolerances.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail in both assembly processes and documentation.
Update and maintain electronic build books with accurate component information.
Support continuous improvement by refining processes and procedures in collaboration with team members.
Troubleshoot issues and build technical understanding to resolve challenges effectively.
Maintain a clean, organized, and tour-ready work area at all times.
Qualifications:
The candidate will have:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum five years’ experience in a racing engine environment.
Proficient in operating Newen and Sunnen type cylinder head machining equipment.
Hands-on experience with cylinder head and sub-assembly builds.
Strong mechanical skills and ability to proficiently use all build related tools.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Physical requirements are listed below but not limited to:
Standing: Frequent/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per day
Walking: Occasionally/Intermittent Up to 3 hours per day
Sitting: Occasionally/Intermittent
Lifting: Up to 50 lbs., occasionally/Intermittent
Carrying: Up to 50 lbs., occasionally/Intermittent
Pushing/Pulling: ~100 lbs., occasionally/Intermittent

The annual base salary range for this position is $69,300.00 - $112,600.00.
