Overview
The Project Manager oversees large-scale janitorial operations across multiple educational facilities, ensuring exceptional service delivery, compliance, and client satisfaction. This role involves strategic planning, operational leadership, and financial management for multi-site accounts. The Senior Project Manager serves as the key liaison between clients, internal teams, and vendors, driving efficiency and quality standards in alignment with contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement operational strategies for janitorial services across multiple schools or campuses.
- Ensure alignment with district policies, state regulations, and organizational goals.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for school boards, administrators, and district officials.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Operational Oversight:
- Oversee scheduling, staffing, and quality assurance for all sites.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor Project Managers and site supervisors.
- Implement leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
Financial Management:
- Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and reporting.
- Negotiate vendor contracts and oversee procurement of supplies and equipment.
Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to OSHA standards, environmental regulations, and school district requirements.
- Maintain documentation for audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in janitorial or facilities management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience managing multi-site operations in the education sector.
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and operational management software.
