Description:You will be the Airworthiness Engineer for the Fighter Airworthiness Team which is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of fighter aircraft.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Airworthiness Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the airworthiness needs of the organization, enabling innovation, and increasing efficiencies. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting business needs and enabling innovation and increased efficiencies within the E&T organization
- Management of Airworthiness artifacts and data requirements to support Airworthiness cycles for development test, production, and sustainment/retrofits
- Ensuring data integrity of artifacts
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure airworthiness certification requirements are met
- Developing and implementing processes to improve airworthiness management

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
