Title:
Principal Specialist, Information Management
Responsible for the Engineering Project Information/Digital Engineering functions but not limited to collection and management of information from one or more sources and the distribution of that information to one or more audiences. Under general supervision, solves complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices. Uses experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes. May provide guidance to less experienced team members.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform regular Data validation checks and Flag inconsistencies to Engineering and resolve the inconsistencies.
Perform Data Loading / importing to databases
Tag and Data Management
Data Class Library management for Project
Coordinate multi-discipline activities for digital engineering-related tasks.
Implementation of KBR Digital Engineering approach on projects
Perform Vendor Data review
Set up and publish regular data completeness and consistency reports to the project.
Responsible for day-to-day digital engineering activities comprising both 2D tools data and 3D data:
1.Perform data integrity checks
2. Produce reports
3. Ensure data consistency
To support the detailed engineering design effort by the use of standard tools, as well as support the project close-out and turn-over effort
To support data and document submittal to Client as per the scope of work
To support and manage the flow of data and documentation to the Client
To follow the contractual requirements for information/data turnover to assure a seamless transfer of information to Client
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with minimum 15+ years of relevant work experience
Experience with O&G Offshore/Onshore projects with hands-on Project Information Management OR digital engineering solutions but not limited to:
1. Class library, Naming Rules, Attribute data definition
2. Data collection and validation methods
3. Data exchange interfaces
4. Data Exports and metrics reporting
5. Engineering and Supplier Tag & Data Management
6. Engineering software systems & tools
7. Good Knowledge of Engineering Database Warehouse systems
8. Experience in Engineering Data Class library Management
9. Experience in Database Management System, SQL development, VBA, SQL Server Reporting services, Preparation of Data Management Plan / procedures 10. Hands on experience on Data Integration tools for Data flow across various Engineering tools and Integrated Engineering Database like EVEVA Engineering, SPF and likewise
Knowledge and proficiency on Engineering Systems and Tools and its work processes, Awareness and knowledge on Digital Engineering and its tools. Good understanding on Engineering Workflow and key deliverables,
Good written and oral communication skills
Strong facilitation, analytical, and design skills
Good problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and organize support activities and manage multiple tasks
Experience with Oracle DB and Visual Basic DB is an added advantage
