About your role:
You will be a technology professional, adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will not only work on production support activities like incidents, change, problem management but also on certification support for multiple clients and monthly patching for production environments. As a part of your production support activities, you will be on call after office hours and work on weekends/holidays as needed. You will create production run books, maintain change registers, and perform impact analysis for production issues worked upon.
What you'll do:
- Participate in production management activities such as incident change and problem management as well as work with various teams for metrics-based tracking, planning, risk & mitigation, and certification support for multiple top clients
- Implement plan reviews, change submissions in the interest of change success and hygiene along with improving resiliency and availability for your platforms.
- Closely work with multiple production assurance teams and maintain production run books, change registers, automations, improvements, and perform impact/root cause analysis for production issues.
- You will have the opportunity to work with the best talent in the industry and provide production support for innovative, high quality and largest financial solutions to meet our clients’ business needs.
- Proactive monitoring using tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana, and Moogsoft.
Experience you'll need to have:
- 4+ years of experience working in an enterprise IT environment.
- 2+ years of experience in Unix and Windows, scheduling tools.
- 2+ years of experience in Oracle.
- 2+ years of experience in .Red Hat Open shift, Kafka, ARO, PCF, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
- 2+ years of experience in production management, application/platform monitoring, on call schedule.
- 1+ years of experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, Grafana and Moog Soft.
- 1+ years of experience with incidents, change and problem management and ticketing tools like Service Now, Remedy, CA Service Desk.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education, military, and work experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices.
- Experience with automation and scripting languages.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience and desire to work in a Global Delivery environment.
- Experience using versioning control tools like MS Visual Source Safe (VSS), Git, and Bitbucket.
How you’ll work:
- This role is on-site position. Fiserv considers in-person collaboration to be an essential part of this role as in-person office experiences helps you with your overall onboarding experience and lead to stronger productivity.
- This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered.
- You will work an assigned schedule from 3:00pm to midnight EST
- This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
