Job Overview
Local General Contractor is seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing office operations, and ensuring smooth communication within the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, and demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and attention to detail. Bilingual (Spanish) abilities are a plus to effectively serve a diverse workforce. Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, creating a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls efficiently and professionally
- Perform data entry, filing, and maintain accurate records using Microsoft Office and other company software
- Assist with contract administration tasks including logging of contract and subcontractor information, handling distribution of subcontractor payments and collection of required releases.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries and providing support via phone or in person
- Coordinate administrative functions such as mail distribution, supply inventory, and document organization and tracking.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment
- Handle all new hire paperwork for field employees
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration, heavy filing, general clerical work, and as a receptionist; construction experience is a plus
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, and data entry skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks
- Exceptional phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
- Bilingual (spanish) abilities are preferred
- Ability to handle administrative tasks such as calendar management, email management, subcontractor and A/P filing, and supply inventory with accuracy
- Prior experience in office or administrative support roles is required
- This position requires punctuality, ability to be part of the team, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
