Northwest Indiana and Illinois – Mobile Field Service
T&J Mobile Repair is a fast-growing mobile service company that keeps heavy-duty fleets on the road across Northwest Indiana and Illinois. We’re looking for a dependable, driven, and experienced technician to join our team as a full-time W-2 employee.

Pay & Compensation
Starting at $29/hour
$1/hour tool bonus (added on top of hourly rate)
Higher pay available based on experience and tool set
Weekly pay via direct deposit
Bonus opportunities for after-hours or emergency work
Steady, year-round workload
Primary Responsibilities
You’ll perform mobile service and repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers, including:
Electrical and lighting diagnostics
Brake, suspension, and steering repairs
Engine exhaust, aftertreatment, and cooling systems
Starting and charging systems
Driveline and 5th-wheel inspections
Preventive maintenance and DOT inspections
What We Provide
Company service truck (take-home)
Fuel card
Specialty tools provided
All parts and shop supplies handled through our system
Dispatch and Fullbay support for job management
Professional team environment with growth opportunity
Schedule
Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional overflow on Saturday
Alternate schedule: Tuesday–Saturday, with occasional overflow on Monday
Guaranteed Sunday off every week
Typical workweek: 40–50 hours

Must be punctual, driven, and prideful in your work
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in service documentation
Ability to diagnose and repair independently in the field
Must maintain a clean, organized truck and work area
Professional attitude and respect toward customers and teammates

Requirements
3+ years of heavy-duty diesel and/or trailer repair experience
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Must provide own tools (minimum set required)
Welding, diagnostics, or fabrication experience is a plus
CDL helpful but not required
