What you´ll do
- The Domestic Shipping Clerk is a pivotal member of our team, responsible for ensuring the efficient handling and dispatch of goods from our warehouse facility.
- This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory levels, coordinating outbound shipments, and leveraging forklift expertise to facilitate smooth logistics operations if necessary
- Create shipping paperwork and ensure it is accurate, this includes packing slips in SAP
- Ensure customer requirements have been met on their orders and it is accurate
- Call or email carriers to schedule pickups, when required
- Communicate with customer service representatives when there are issues with customers’ orders
- Verify orders shipped have been completed and goods issued in SAP
- Ability to multi-task and re-prioritize jobs throughout the day
- Work hand-in-hand with shipping associates, to ensure customer orders ship on time
