Join our team as an Electrical Repair Technician, where you’ll diagnose and repair electrical faults, rework parts, and ensure products meet Caterpillar’s quality standards. You will work with hand/power tools, read schematics, and support continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
Diagnose and repair electrical issues on machines and components
Rework and test parts to resolve non-conformance
Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
Use hand/power tools and lifting equipment safely
Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow health & safety practices
Support apprentices and share knowledge
Contribute to process improvements and quality standards
Skills We’re Looking For:
Strong electrical fault-finding and repair skills
Ability to read and understand schematics
Skilled in using hand/power tools and lifting equipment
Attention to detail and commitment to quality
Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
Good communication and teamwork skills
Flexible approach and willingness to learn

Job Title: Electrical Repair Technician
Salary: £35,247 base salary rising when role triggers are met to £39,000 + additional 20% shift premium
Contract: Permanent
Shift: Afternoons/Lates
