Description:Primary responsibilities will be to develop, implement and maintain calibration processes, assist metrology technicians in solving problems encountered with equipment/processes relating to measurement techniques, instrument operation, or instrument deficiency. The successful candidate will analyze Metrology Operations performance metrics to improve laboratory production and efficiency in the calibration and repair of inspection, measuring and test equipment.
The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring traceability and developing accurate calibration methods and techniques based on principles of measurement science, technical analysis of measurement problems and accuracy and precision requirements; identifying magnitude of error sources contributing to uncertainty of results to determine reliability of the measurement process in quantitative terms; developing and evaluating calibration systems that measure characteristics of objects, substances, or phenomena, such as length, mass, time, temperature, electric current, luminous intensity and derived units of physical or chemical measure; and providing SME expertise to calibration technicians and all programs and functions requiring measurement support.
The successful candidate will direct all technical activities within the assigned Metrological disciplines and ensure conformance to requirements.

à Discover Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:• Graduated from a formal Metrology training program or extensive OJT within a calibration laboratory.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret specifications, drawings and schematics.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and quantify measurement uncertainties.
• Proven knowledge of laboratory safety requirements, general laboratory quality requirements and industry practices pertaining to calibration and repair of test and measuring equipment.
• Experience in the use of computers, connectivity, Microsoft Office, instrumentation control utilizing automated calibration software.
Desired Skills:• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience using IndySoft Calibration Management software.
• Experience researching technical requirements and creating calibration procedures.
• Knowledgeable of industry quality requirements such as ISO 10012, 17025, ANSI Z-540 and MIL-STD 45662A.
• Experience calibrating/troubleshooting RF/Microwave equipment.
• Experience using Keysight N7800A Test Management
• Environment (TME) Software and the ability to utilize for normal calibration, troubleshoot utilizing log files, and circumvent errored programming using manual calibration methods.
• Knowledge of backing up, updating, and maintaining test equipment firmware, on-board memory, and source files.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
