Description:What We DoOur Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Experimentation Lab (X-LAB) is a very fast paced and dynamic environment. It is engineering, developing and integrating new capability for the Missile Defense System that currently protects the United States and its allies. The team consists of many small agile teams that work together in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Our team is also, responsible for tasks such as Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security and enhancing other critical, leading-edge missile defense technologies.
What You Will Be DoingThe X-Lab Test Director conducts the planning and analysis of all Missile Defense System tests in which the C2BMC program is a participant. Examples include: pairwise tests with external sensors and labs, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Joint Command and Control with other military agencies, and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. The X-Lab Test Director is responsible for the planning of all assigned test events, with emphasis on briefing status and building event products such as Event Architecture, briefing Test Objectives to government and leadership, implementing the Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK) and Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configurations, and creating Certification Data Packages. The position also provides the following support:
• Support planning phase reviews and meetings
• Support customer boards and meetings
• Interface with developers
• Support government personnel during event execution phases when requested
• Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting
• Support analysis group.
Additionally, the X-Lab Test Director will be responsible for maintaining the CAM efforts for XLAB, including month end execution for Level of Effort (LOE )tasks on Task Order (TO) 2 and Discrete tasks on TO 3 in support of XLAB Integrated Task‑Work Authorization and Allocation (ITWAA) efforts.

• This position is located at Shriever, Space Force Base 10 miles east of Colorado Springs, CO and is 100% onsite.
• Non-standard work hours are highly likely during event execution and possible infrequent travel.

Basic Qualifications:• Active Final SECRET clearance required prior to starting
• Demonstred experience with project management
• Experience with Earned Value Management (CAM knowledge)
Desired Skills:• Prior experience with the C2BMC Program or missile defense sensor/weapon integration concepts
• Comfortable with rapidly changing requirements, challenges that require novel solutions, fast-paced activities, and tight deadlines
• Experience in development and maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structure including establishing control accounts and work packages.
• Must possess strong organizational and verbal/written communications skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
