AvioAero Campania Engineering Center is looking for a talented Engineer expected to become Low Pressure Turbine Hardware Owner. The position requires technical knowledge, deep involvement into design activities for production support, redesign activities, design change, investigation for field issues and a collaboration with the Global Supply Chains departments, including also activities aimed to improve product manufacturability and producibility
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Execute Design Engineering milestones within post certification production processes, such as quality notifications (QN/MRBs), source substantiation (VSE), Design Changes (CID)
Work on CAD models and Drawings
Perform structural and fracture mechanics analyses in support of MRB, DR dispositions, producibility and cost-out projects
Support manufacturing shop to improve producibility of components for which he has design responsibility
Execute field investigation and root cause analysis
Proactively support and contribute to the coordination of activities with other Company departments (Program management, Sourcing, Quality and Global Supply Chain), Customers and Suppliers to implement product improvements (e.g. concurrent design, cost-out activities)
Support Product Support Engineer Team for the updating of Engine Manuals
Qualifications/Requirements
Engineering Master degree - Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred
Deep knowledge of Turbine Modules and components.
Experience with CAD/CAE tools
Effective in contributing in a structured, cross functional teamwork environment
Able to manage high priority tasks at the same time
English and Italian fluency
Communication skills
Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required

Demonstrate ability to facilitate technical discussions across multiple disciplines
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and technical skills
Talented, highly motivated with good engineering judgment
Knowledge of Avio Aero and GEA processes, tools and procedures
