About your role:
This position is responsible for reconciliation of both paper and plastic products within the Vault and or Warehouse area by using methods of cycle counting daily or monthly usage of product. This includes researching and solving multiple variances as required with urgency and diligence. All variances must be report to Management to comply with internal corporate and PCI (Visa/MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX) audits.
What you will do:
Maintains inventory control records for all plastic or paper product.
Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of inventory reconciliation.
Performs and reconciles daily cycle counts resulting from pulling errors.
Performs on the spot counts as required by Service, Production and Management.
Researches and reconciles IIR's and variances resulting from daily cycle counts.
Assigns priority to inventories as determined by client/client services.
Responsible for special projects affecting Inventory Control.
Assures effective communication between Vault, Warehouse, Leads, Production, and Client Services.
Performs other duties as assigned.
What you will need to have:
1+ year of inventory experience, or related experience.
Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
Use of basic math skills.
Must be able to work independently, with the ability to function effectively in a team environment.
Ability to adapt to fluctuating workload and times, special projects and set priorities to complete assignments.
What would be great to have:
1+ year of warehouse/production experience.
6+ months of inventory control or cycle counting experience.
Microsoft Office experience.
Familiarity with AS400 and Material Management Systems (MMS).
Ability to communicate ideas and articulate them in a verbal and professional manner.
How you will work:
You will work an assigned 1st shift schedule.
This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
