What does a Data Entry Operator do?
You will be responsible for capturing information from mail pieces that have been returned as undeliverable. The on-screen prompts guide you through the process according to client specifications.
What you'll do:
Accurately input cardholder data into the RAPID or return mail databases.
Operate a label printer, barcode scanner, and card reader.
File mail according to final disposition of mail piece.
Perform quality checks.
Verify accurate material is used.
Troubleshooting to resolve machine and job-related problems.
Participating in team cross-training.
Maintaining clean work area.
What you'll need to have:
Type 25-30 words per minute.
Read and comprehend basic work- related written and verbal instructions, in English.
Good organization skills.
Ability to lift between 15 and 20 pounds.
Ability to push / pull mail carts and shred bins.
How you'll work:
You will work an assigned 2nd shift schedule Monday-Friday from 3:30pm to 11:30pm
This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
