You’ll gain firsthand experience managing subcontracts throughout their entire life cycle—starting from proposal phases, through execution, and into closeout. THE WORK•This position will be the Sourcing Manager responsible for all Supply Chain activity for the Towed Array and Hull Array programs within the Antisubmarine Warfare Acoustic Sensors and Weapons (ASW2) sub-market segment.
• This position includes being responsible for the performance of the subcontractors as well as being responsible for material procurement.
• The position will manage the various geographically dispersed Supply Chain team supporting these Programs and will be responsible for the Sourcing scope in program execution and in program proposal activities.
• This position will have 3 direct reports, including Subcontract Program Managers (SPMs), Subcontract Managers and Subcontract Administrators.
• This position reports to the ASW2 sub-market segment Sourcing lead and will ensure that all activity is reported as required to Sourcing and Program leadership and will support Line of Business (LOB), RMS and Corporate Sourcing initiatives as necessary.

• Ability to work onsite at LM Syracuse 50% of the time
• Ability to travel up to 25%

• Experience in developing and executing Business/Subcontract Management strategies
• Possess excellent communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as well as program and executive management.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively team with all levels of the organization/program
• Proven flexibility to be able to multi-task and be able to support multiple complex initiatives at the same time
• Ability to interpret policies/procedures
• Excellent organization skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience managing personnel and/or leading teams
• Previous LM RMS experience
• 10+ years of progressive SPM experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 - $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
