Job Description
The Finance Data Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the curation, maintenance, completeness, timeliness and quality of multiple data sets within the organization. This role leads a team that ensures data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all our finance data assets for the enterprise. The Finance Data Asset Manager will collaborate with various departments including IT, Finance, Product Development, GPSC, Engineering and SSM to establish and maintain high quality data assets to be used for analytics and support data-driven decisions.
- Oversee the curation, maintenance, and quality control of data across all data assets
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity by implementing and maintaining quality systems across the various data assets
- Manage data integration and synchronization between different systems and platforms.
- Provide training and support to business users of the various data assets.
- Monitor and report on key data management metrics and KPIs.
- Ownership over all aspect of security: Role provisioning, addition/deletions, reviewing security groups, and performing security audits.
- Understand data structure, data interfaces, and how data flows from source systems to the consolidation system within the integrated eco system.
- Internal desire to not accept status quo and instead learn ‘how things work’ and willingness to research complex, problematic, and difficult issues during a chaotic environment. Lead Change and simplification of complex processes
- Keeps abreast of current product developments and trends in areas of expertise
- Collaborate with business partners to understand and interpret requirements, align them into actionable roadmaps, and enable specific outcomes with accountability to deliver
- Lead the identification and development of data enabled insights that support strategic decisions and enable business value
- Establish a data-driven culture through leadership of advanced analytics solutions while leveraging AI to enable business value
- Ensure comprehensive adoption of transformation solutions by business functions

Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Business
- Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of data management principles, practices, and tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with data migration and integration projects.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience with PowerBI and other visualization software
- Experience with IT data platforms such as Databricks and Atlan
- Experience with SAP systems and data organization
Location: Hybrid. This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to the - Global HQ Warren Mi three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business]
