About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer in the Auto Operations Control team. This team supports the Auto Operations group within Consumer Lending Operations. The role will focus on supporting the design and implementation of two key strategic Auto programs being implemented over the next two years and work directly with all teams and support partners within the Auto Line of Business.
In this role, you will:
• Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring risks and controls relevant business group or functional area
• Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
• Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls
• Leverage Risk and Control Self Assessment (RCSA) output and other risk intelligence/ sources to support programs like ERIA, RMP, Risk Appetite and ensure consistency in implementation across business group
• Identify opportunity areas where process can be improve and lead the execution of the initiative
• Partner, support and liaise closely with the Business Control Management and Control Program team to implement all key operational risk components/ programs
Required Qualifications:• 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:• Strong knowledge of internal controls and related policies, including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
• Direct experience with execution of RCSA activities (e.g., risk identification, risk assessment, control design, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of issue management life cycle and policy requirements and experience managing all phases including issue identification, root cause analysis, corrective action planning and remediation
• Experience designing and evaluating effective controls, including optimization of processes and aligned controls
• Experience evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems and internal controls
• Experience in developing and/or monitoring key risk indicators
• Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communications skills with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders
• Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines coupled with experience renegotiating times lines when needed
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• A BS/BA degree or higher preferred
Job Expectations:• Position offers a hybrid work schedule in which you are required to work in office 3 days per week at a minimum in one of the locations listed below

Pay RangeReflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $179,000.00
