Job Summary: Executes the planning, coordinating, governing and reporting procurements of participation in the NPI process. Identifies, investigates, communicates cross functionally and proceed NPI program within procurement. Resolves internal customer, Product Group, issues based on own process.
What You Will Do:
Providing leadership for the NPI activities within procurement, including select sources taken from the category strategies and resource management decisions.
Monitoring and reporting NPI progress, holding NPI & design teams accountable for meeting quality and timeliness of requirements, and to assist the product group in managing procurement related capital.
Communicating about internal customer expectations and work with engineers, BR and supply chain teams in order to improve deliverables and meet business requirements.
Analyzing business requirements, current expectations gaps needed to support business strategies and expectations.
Playing a key role in conducting risk assessments, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and routine issue resolution.
Delivering outcomes, roadmaps on business processes and applications to support business objectives, standards and processes.
What You Have:
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Teamwork: Knowledge of the necessity and value of teamwork; experience with; ability to work cooperatively towards shared goals and being supportive of others at all levels.
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Knowledge of processes, and strategies of new product introduction, and value propositions aligned with the organization's overall business strategy.
Supplier Management - MFG: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
