Job Summary Details: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team for the Overnight shift (10p-6am). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of airport floors using specialized equipment and cleaning techniques. This role is essential to ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for travelers and staff.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Key Responsibilities
- Operate floor care equipment such as auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers, and extractors.
- Sweep, mop, strip, wax, and polish various types of flooring (tile, carpet, concrete, etc.).
- Perform routine and deep cleaning of high-traffic areas including terminals, hangars and restrooms.
- Follow safety procedures and use appropriate signage to prevent accidents.
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
- Replenish supplies and ensure storage areas are clean and organized.
- Work collaboratively with custodial and maintenance teams.
- Always adhere to airport security and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Previous floor care or janitorial experience preferred (airport or commercial setting a plus).
- Ability to operate and maintain floor care equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-traffic environment.
