Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
- Create and develop strategies for programs and other content to promote them. On-air promos, dekos, non-linear, cross & barter strategies.
- Manage sponsored dekos for clients and ensure that they are placed/logged in accordance with their agreements and make sure needs are fulfilled. Send transmition reports.
- Lead monthly meetings with the operations team to give them guidance & guidelines for the channels. Establish priorities & goals for that month.
- Create workflows for log schedules & assist them with making priorities and helping departments become more efficient.
- Strategize on which promos to include how many per program, opening and closing options, etc.
- Work with programming to give guidelines and understand the strategy per channel brand.
- Work with On-Air to balance the number of promos as well as helping with the “look & feel” of the brands in the promos.
- Work with Marketing with current projects to help promote movies, parks, and other content.
- Run projects and help with the proposals and other things such as runs and promos in order to put them on air.
- Staying attentive to Programming changes that may affect on-air promotions; coordinating new action plans with Operations and, if necessary, request updated pieces from Creative On-Air.
- Annually assess and adjust dates/on-air pieces for Branding, ID’s, fillers, to ensure the on-screen experience for each channel brand remains fresh and available to the log schedulers.

- Knowledge/experience within the LatAm markets including regulations, rules, culture, and the entertainment industry in general, including competitive sets across all media platforms
- Must possess strong writing and copy-editing skills
- Possesses high attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment & work with tight deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently under general supervision
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in media communications or relevant field
- 3+ years’ experience Media, Entertainment or Advertising industries
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications
- Languages: Spanish and English (Operational)
