About the role:
As an Onboarding Support Specialist, you will be the initial contact for new Merchant Services clients who use our services to provide credit card and payment solutions to their customers. You will help new clients activate and smoothly transition to our services and ensure accurate account setup, through a balanced focus of walking clients through our systems and acting as an advocate for our technology and offerings. We collaborate with our clients through phone calls, email, and on-line chat services.
What you’ll do:
- Welcome new clients, perform technical-related support, solve problems, and investigate and resolve a wide variety of issues and requests that include terminal downloads, software, and account updates.
- Coordinate with other support organizations to fulfill client needs for account activation and full usage. We build and make a direct impact with merchants that provide services to everyday consumers while utilizing our systems and business tools.
- Explain reporting of systems and products to merchants to resolve their concerns and answer their questions. In addition, Route, maintain and track servicing requests and provide detailed follow up.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years technical support or customer service experience
- 2+ years with multiple computer system platforms
- Experience communicating clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with internet navigation and technology.
Experience that would be great to have:
- Associate’s degree
- Experience with performance requirements – Voice of the Customer, Quality, Schedule Adherence, etc.
- 1 year experience with multiline telephones and online noting systems
