Job Summary Details: A Floor Technician maintains clean, safe, and attractive floors in commercial/industrial settings using specialized machines (buffers, extractors) for sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, buffing, and shampooing carpets, plus reporting damage and following strict safety protocols for various surfaces like tile, wood, and carpet.

Basic Qualifications: • Must be 18 years of age or older
• 2 years experiences required
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: • Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience
Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities - Cleaning & Maintenance: Sweeping, dust mopping, damp mopping, vacuuming, carpet extraction, bonneting, and spot cleaning.
- Restoration: Stripping old finishes, applying new wax/sealers, buffing, and burnishing hard floors.
- Equipment Operation: Safely using floor scrubbers, buffers, extractors, and other specialized tools.
- Safety: Adhering to all safety procedures, handling chemicals responsibly, and setting up wet floor signs.
- Reporting: Identifying and reporting floor damage, maintenance needs, or hazards to supervisors.
Special Projects: May involve cleaning walls, windows, baseboards, or post-construction cleanup
