✅ Hourly Rate: $30.00 (Paid Weekly)
Facility Support responsible for Site Readiness & Inspections, Cleaning & Custodial Support, Maintenance & Repairs, Maintenance & Repairs and other duties as assigned.
Pay: $30.00 per hour - $30.00 per hour

This position is for custodial services at a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, only members of the Church who are endowed and have a current temple recommend qualify for employment for this specific position. Site Readiness & Inspections
• Conduct building and grounds walkthroughs and visual inspections to help uphold temple standards
• Treat patrons with respect
• Walk the temple site (including in mechanical areas and attics, climbing of ladders is required) regularly to ensure readiness
• Report any deficiencies to the Assistant Temple Facilities Manager or Temple Facilities Manager
• If needed, also communicate professionally and courteously with other key contractors and volunteers
• Help ensure and maintain a quiet reverence in mechanical areas appropriate for the temple when the temple is in session
Cleaning & Custodial Support
• Respond to and clean up custodial emergencies or needs if needed
• Organization and cleaning of mechanical, storage, and shop areas (including workshop building, temple attics, etc) following 5S standards
• Restock custodial supplies and manage inventories as needed
• Report items that need to be ordered, preferably before they run out
Maintenance & Repairs
• Professional response and basic repairs on the building, grounds, systems or equipment such as HVAC, Font, Lighting, Electrical, Plumbing, Furniture, Fine finishes, Grounds, Walks, Parking lot, etc.
• Quick emergency response: if possible, fix or mitigate facilities issues that may pop up
• For larger problems if needed, call an approved contractor (such as emergency HVAC service company; list of approved contractors is available from TFM) or other emergency service
• Meet, grant access, and escort others as needed, keeping the Recorder or Presidency updated on urgent or key issues
• Preventative maintenance and inspections
• Document and communicate issues and needs on paper logs near equipment and if needed to TFM/TFA and/or digitally
• Check and help manage list of work orders in computer as needed

• Provide audio/visual or other technical assistance when requested
• If needed, call tech support phone number to help resolve issues that may arise
Security & Access
• Monitor security cameras
• If needed, Lock/unlock gates or doors for employee, volunteer, and patron access
• Escorting of volunteers or other contractors when needed
• Review and follow emergency plan procedures as needed
Deliveries & Logistics
• Receive packages from Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.
• If needed, move items from one building to another or pick up or deliver supplies locally to or from vendors or other facilities buildings in the area
Exterior & Seasonal Duties
• Respond to urgent grounds issues if needed, for example apply ice melt until the snow removal company arrives or if the frost or snow dusting is too light for them to come out
• Incidental snow and ice removal if needed (typically primarily taken care of by professional landscape company as of this writing)
• Check for and address if possible: trash, sticks, blow leaves, paint or polish outdoor fencing or rails, basic fence repair, etc.
• If needed report larger or more urgent grounds issues to the grounds contractor company
Expectations
• Be proactive and observant—report issues promptly to the Senior Assistant TFM or TFM
• Maintain a respectful and professional demeanor and appearance appropriate for the temple
• Follow safety protocols and uphold cleanliness standards
• Support temple operations with flexibility and care
