About the Role We are seeking an experienced, dynamic
Senior Manager, Deskside, A/V & VIP Support to lead deskside and enterprise audio/visual support operations while personally delivering high-touch technology services for executives and VIPs in New York City. In addition, this leader will
oversee deskside support analysts at other ABM sites, ensuring consistent service delivery, process alignment, and performance across the enterprise.
This highly visible position requires exceptional technical expertise, people leadership, and executive presence to deliver flawless technology experiences in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership & People Management Lead and mentor
deskside engineers in NYC and deskside support analysts across other ABM sites, as well as A/V specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and customer-centricity.
Ensure deskside operations across all ABM sites are standardized, efficient, and aligned with enterprise Technology strategy.
Build career development paths, manage performance, and attract top technology and A/V talent.
Serve as the senior escalation point for complex deskside and A/V issues.
VIP / Executive Support Personally deliver
white-glove technology support for C-suite executives, board members, and other high-profile stakeholders.
Partner closely with other VIP Support leads to ensure seamless coverage, knowledge sharing, and consistent executive experience across locations.
Anticipate executive needs, ensuring
zero downtime for meetings, travel, and major events.
Provide direct, discreet, and reliable technology support during board sessions, earnings calls, and high-visibility presentations.
Partner with executive assistants, chiefs of staff, and security to ensure seamless and secure technology experiences.
Deskside Support Oversee day-to-day
deskside support operations at the NYC headquarters while directing deskside support teams across other ABM offices.
Drive global consistency in incident response, root cause analysis, and long-term resolution planning.
Develop and track KPIs, service metrics, and customer satisfaction scores across all supported sites.
Audio/Visual Services Manage enterprise-wide A/V support, including conference room technologies, live event production, and virtual collaboration platforms.
Ensure flawless operation of executive boardrooms, town halls, and global broadcast communications.
Partner with Facilities and Corporate Communications to deliver reliable and innovative A/V experiences.
Drive continuous improvement in A/V technologies, expanding hybrid meeting capabilities and enhancing end-user experience.
Technology & Strategy Partner with global Technology leadership to standardize tools, processes, and governance across deskside and A/V support functions enterprise-wide.
Introduce modern support models, including self-service, automation, and AI-driven solutions.
Champion endpoint security and compliance best practices across devices, ensuring business continuity and data protection.
Stakeholder Engagement Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, ensuring technology strategies align with executive and enterprise needs.
Represent the deskside, A/V & VIP support function in global Technology planning sessions, audits, and cross-functional projects.
Provide regular reporting and insights to senior Technology leadership on deskside and A/V operations across all ABM sites.
Qualifications 10+ years of end-user technology support experience, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
Proven experience managing
multi-site deskside support teams, A/V services, and VIP/executive support in a large, complex enterprise environment.
Strong technical foundation across Windows, macOS, mobile platforms, conferencing/AV solutions, and collaboration tools (O365, Zoom, Teams, WebEx, Crestron, Poly, Cisco, etc.).
Demonstrated success running large-scale A/V operations, including boardrooms, events, and broadcast-quality communications.
Track record of modernizing Technology and A/V support services through automation, service management platforms, and customer experience enhancements.
Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to work directly with C-level leaders.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
