The Bromont site leader will be responsible for leading plant manufacturing operations for Bromont facility.
In this role, you will be accountable for planning and directing all aspects of the organization’s manufacturing, community relations and supply chain strategies, objectives, initiatives and policies, as well as play a key leadership role within the RPCA organization.
In addition, you will: Drive operations team towards execution of Business Goals using Lean Manufacturing methodology Monitor & improve cost productivity while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality & compliant manner Establish and direct plant policies and procedures Meet plant production and quality goals Have a strong focus on employee relations Foster well-trained and motivated staff
Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Lead operations team to deliver business results using FLIGHT DECK (Lean) Fundamentals and leadership behaviors.
- Demonstrated ability to operate and deliver year over year Safety, Quality, Delivery, & Cost (SQDC) improvements in a recognized a lean management system in a manufacturing environment
- Monitor & improve cost productivity while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality & compliant manner
- Establish all production schedules and meet customer’s delivery expectations
- Security: Cultivates a safe and compliant culture through formal EHS Commitment; leads by example on Genba walks; share best practices and learnings within RPCA.
- Quality: Influences teams to develop plans & actions to meet quality and manufacturing KPIs.
- Delivery management: Works with the Sr management team in the setting of the long-term strategic vision for the site that drives delivery goals and target flow down into the organization.
- Inventory: Ensures efficient inventory levels across the organization to meet customer demands and cash requirements.
- Productivity: Promote FLIGHT DECK principles across the organization to ensure that customer needs are met at all levels; instill a culture of continuous improvement and problem solving.
- Talent: Establishes a high performance, accountable work culture and environment that attracts, retains and motivates across diverse team members; ensures healthy bench strength for critical positions.
- Organizational Culture: Ensures that the participative management culture is maintained at all levels of the organization and that its principles are applied.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, business, or engineering from an accredited university or college
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience with proven leadership in manufacturing or supply chain roles
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s degree in business, manufacturing, or engineering from an accredited university
- Experience leading a facility through a growth phase in production.
- Ability to build relationships with all levels of the shop, showing respect for people while maintaining accountability for results.

- OMLP graduate or similar program inside or outside GE desired
- Knowledge of the disciplines of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control, variable cost productivity, and fulfillment metrics, quality systems, cost systems, and fulfillment metrics, and procedures
- Proven mentoring and coaching abilities in lean principles and kaizen mindset. Demonstrated ability to motivate & inspire others through transformational change.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a complex, global, unique and sometimes ambiguous environment
- Demonstrated ability able to influence and communicate well with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
- Clear, strategic, and critical thinker; proven experience in translating strategies into actionable plans
