What does a successful Technical Engineering Supervisor do at Fiserv?
As a Technical Engineering Supervisor on 3rd shift, you will be responsible for the Technician team across all three shifts. You will be looked to for thinking outside the box to rectify existing equipment misgivings. Ensure your technician team can perform difficult, complex, and sometimes complicated technical maintenance duties to overhaul production machines, industrial machinery, timing devices, and electrical/electronic equipment. Follow up to assure satisfactory completion on any work ticket that was escalated in production.
What you will do:
- Must ensure cost savings initiatives are occurring to reduce the amount of liability regarding parts costs.
- Monitor technician floor activity and work with technical staff to improve their skills, help them get equipment up quickly, train the technicians in all areas.
- Attend meetings with operation, venders or management that deal with special projects, issues or operational changes that may need to be done.
- Ensure all safety protocols are always followed by everyone.
- Create reports, track Information and other documents as needed by management or operations.
- Travel between facilities as needed for coverage and support.
What you will need to have:
- High School Diploma or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience.
- 3+ years of progressive maintenance supervisory experience.
- 3+ years of experience in training and mentoring team members.
- 3+ years of commitment to maintaining safety standards and procedures.
- 3+ years of organizational skills to manage workflow efficiently.
Important info about this role:
- You will work an assigned schedule of: 3rd Shift 10:30PM to 7:00AM ; Sunday - Thursday.
- Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays.
- You must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization to be considered for this role.
