Job Description The QA/QC team is part of the GCT EU Business Management Group (“BMG”) within the Global Corporate Trust business in Europe (“GCT EU”). BMG facilitates controlled change in response to new products, regulatory requirements and audit findings, supporting the development of a robust control environment and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The primary role of the QA/QC team is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of client onboarding and transaction setup, mitigating operational risk through rigorous quality assurance and control processes. The team work in close conjunction with (amongst others) GCT EU business line partners, Business Line Risk, Corporate Tax, Regulatory Reporting, Data Governance, Treasury and GCT US teams, to implement consistency and promote best practice. Core Responsibilities: Timely & accurate completion of account/deal reviews: SEI D1 Reviews, BAR Checks, Initial Account Reviews. The review process involves analysing, extracting, and interpreting information from governing documents and other sources to ensure that the data set up on bank systems is accurate. Identify & escalate review issues/exceptions promptly to the QC/QA Manager. Manage account/deal review exceptions. Facilitate Business Line Reporting for key regulatory data control processes (e.g. CASS, CAR). Review and validation of tax documentation (CRS and FATCA). Audit (both internal & external): support the QC/QA Manager in preparing procedures and process flows where applicable, coordinating business line responses, gathering data/evidence in response to requests. Resolve exceptions. Support quarterly BL QA Testing. Support the QC/QA Manager in the continuous build out of the QC operating model in Europe, establishing testing protocols and creating corresponding procedural documentation. Make key recommendations for process improvements including identifying gaps and the design of controls and testing protocols. Support data enhancement initiatives and remediation work to meet current regulatory requirements. Assist the business line with preparation for upcoming regulatory changes. Assisting with other ad-hoc business management project requirements, as necessary. Facilitate Business Line Reporting of review/exceptions metrics. Participating in projects and process improvement initiatives were requested e.g. new systems or existing system enhancement, including collecting business line feedback and requirements gathering through to development and User Acceptance Testing. Ensure adherence to U.S. Bank Code of Ethics, AML, BSA, and information security requirements. Ensure compliance with the U.S. Bank Code of Ethics and all Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, policies, and procedures. Actively participate in any required corporate and business line training Core Skills and Competencies: Familiarity with GCT EU business (or willingness to learn) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
