About your role:
You will be pivotal in managing client conversions and startup projects from inception through completion. Your role is crucial in facilitating the migration of portfolios to Fiserv's credit processing system, ensuring seamless transitions for new or existing clients expanding their services. You will be responsible for leading discovery sessions, overseeing data specifications, software development, system configuration, testing, and overall project implementation, ensuring all client and internal requirements are met effectively.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage conversion and startup projects from end to end.
- Develop and implement detailed project plans, consult with clients, and manage deliverables.
- Coordinate and manage activities required by clients, Fiserv, and involved vendors, ensuring seamless onboarding.
- Lead internal project teams of up to 8 members, ensuring system setup and customization.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of customs required for clients.
- Oversee issue resolution through effective problem-solving, resource identification, and escalation as needed.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Participate actively in Discovery, Data Spec Review, Software Development, System Configuration, Testing, and Project Management & Implementation.
Experience you’ll need to have:
- 8+ years of experience in project management within the payment industry and/or with First Data/Fiserv platforms.
- 8+ years of experience in conversion projects and delivering custom solutions.
- 8+ years of experience working with productivity tools like Jira, SharePoint, and Clarity.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
- 10+ years of experience in the credit card issuing industry.
- 9+ years of experience in a client-facing role with excellent communication skills.
- 9+ years of experience leading diverse project teams and managing multifaceted projects.
- 9+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows applications and related tools.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
How you'll work:
