Job Summary:
This position is a dedicated Business Data Analyst for One Funnel within Advanced Leads & Insights (ALI) organization. The One Funnel team's mission is to enhance customer experience and help dealers solve challenges by implementing One Funnel actions within the dealership, including but not limited to: Machine Sales, Aftermarket Sales, Service Execution, Customer Onboarding and Account Management.
What You Will Do:
As a Business Data Analyst you will work directly with One Funnel Consultants and Dealers to understand business challenges. You will also:
- Prototype, develop, iterate, test, and deploy PALs (Prioritized Action Lists)
- Understand the dealer systems and business processes used to deploy the PALs
- Support the One Funnel Dealers in implementing actions to drive growth and efficiency across the dealership
- Employee is also responsible for performing other job duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time to time.

- Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
- Business Assessment: Knowledge of the activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities; ability to assess the benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications.
- Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
- Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design, build, and develop a new product, technology, or service from concept through to production.
Considerations for Top Candidates:
- University Degree or relevant experience in similar position.
- Fields of study include computer science, business, mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering or in a related field.
- Experience using SQL to query and transform data to solve complex business problems.
- Experience working with Cat Digital Product datasets in Snowflake (such as STU, OLGA, PSE, DNA, LENS, Vision Link, eCommerce, Cat Central, etc).
- Strong attention to detail in order to spot inaccuracies in coding or data.
- Easily understand business processes - and cause and effect on datasets within the process.
- Confidence and initiative to create innovative solutions to solve business problems.
- Solid practical experience delivering production ready solutions
- Working knowledge of one or more programming languages
- Self-starter and driven while working well in team environment
Additional Information:
- Domestic or international travel; up to 25-50%
- A valid Swiss work permit or Swiss or EU-25/EFTA citizenship is required for this position.
