Role Definition:
Provides guidance and support on advanced features, customizing, implementing and integrating the digital product.
Responsibilities:
• Provides support on major and/or critical implementation or operational issues.
• Contributes to policies and practices for product design, training, documentation, and problem resolution.
• Coordinates with product management on solutions to design, reliability, performance, and maintenance issues.
• Designs and implements methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for monitoring software reliability and resolving product problems.
Skill Descriptors:
Effectiveness Measurement: Knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Under guidance, reports measurement results in actionable form to management.
• Interprets and analyzes results vs. established benchmarks.
• Establishes short-range and long-range improvement goals for own function.
• Uses assigned measurements for own function or specialization.
• Under guidance, develops action plans to achieve those goals.
Products and Services: Knowledge of major products and services and product and service groups; ability to apply knowledge of product and service appropriately to diverse situations.
Level Basic Understanding:
• Describes how own unit's products and services fit within the organization's as a whole.
• Cites examples of how clients are using the organization's products and services.
• Collects research product information, service information and marketing literature.
• Identifies organization's flagship products and services.
Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
Level Working Knowledge:
• Provides prompt and effective responses to client requests and interactions.
• Monitors client satisfaction levels on a regular basis.
• Alerts own team to problems in client satisfaction.

Pricing Models and Analytics: Knowledge of pricing tools, techniques and methods; ability to assess analytical and pricing models through the use of statistical principles.
Level Basic Understanding:
• Utilizes the basic tools designed for measuring and monitoring aggregate risks.
• Describes how risk pricing models and analytical inputs are organized and the types of information each model provides.
• Identifies pricing analysis methods and measurement techniques.
• Cites examples of an organization's use of risk pricing models, measurement, and analysis.
Software Product Training: Knowledge of software product training; ability to create and deliver training on the implementation, operation and utilization of technology products and systems.
Level Basic Understanding:
• Identifies training and learning tools for a product or product group.
• Describes the general content and intended audience of major training solutions.
• Describes the roles and responsibilities of instructors and learning facilitators.
• Understands the various types of product training that is required by clients.
Software Release Management: Knowledge of strategies, practices and tools for managing versions and distribution of software products and enhancements; ability to evaluate and improve release management practices and tools.
Level Basic Understanding:
• Identifies the tools used for managing the release of different versions of a product.
• Explains basic concepts of the need and rationale for upgrading software.
• Explains the business impact of releasing defective products.
• Describes the format and contents of a 'release notes' document.
Change Control: Knowledge of the processes and procedures by which a change is identified, evaluated, approved, monitored and documented; Ability to manage changes in the production environment and processes effectively+
Level Basic Understanding:
• Names the individuals who need to be informed of changes and who actually perform the changes.
• Indicates the major phases in the process of change control (e.g. the Request Phase, the Review Phase, and the Documentation Phase).
• Identifies and explains the basic purpose of change control.
• Describes associated requirements, activities and authorization levels.
