Job Summary
Join Caterpillar as an Inventory Record Accuracy Manager and lead initiatives to ensure precise inventory data integrity across our manufacturing operations. This role is critical for maintaining accurate material records, supporting production efficiency, and driving compliance with global standards. You will oversee inventory accuracy processes, implement best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize material flow. What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Coordinating with operations, logistics, and material requirements team to ensure accurate management of on-site inventory.
- Developing and continuously improving the accuracy of logistical processes to ensure accurate movement and material transactions.
- Manages count and reconciler team to meet corporate standards for inventory count programs.
- Defining and sharing inventory record accuracy strategy and glidepath with facility and business resources stakeholders.
- Supports audit activities with both internal and external auditing bodies to ensure internal processes are meeting compliance requirements.
What You Have (Required Skills)
- Data Gathering & Analysis: Ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.
- Inventory Management - MFG: Ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
- Supply Chain Management - MFG: Ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for controlling the logistical processes.
Preferred Skills
- APICS/CPIM certification.
- Experience in manufacturing or heavy equipment industry.
- Familiarity with Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools.
Summary Pay Range:
$126,000.00 - $189,000.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
