PRIMARY FUNCTION: Oversee the day-to-day loading operations at our dedicated customer site, Home Depot, In South Windsor.
SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm, occasional Saturday. Need to be flexible and may need to come in early or stay late.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for the accuracy and reconciliation of securement inventory
- Responsible for managing a pool of trailers to ensure the availability for customer loading purposes
- Inspecting trailers and having damaged trailers to be serviced
- Communicating and coordinating with operations and maintenance personnel
- Experience with around tractor trailers and flatbeds
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma required
- Transportation and/or prior loading experience preferred
- Ability to function in a fast-paced work environment and tolerate stress
- Ability to negotiate, plan and organize, has strong attention to detail, and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
