Job Description Summary:
Assist the technology function to ensure the development, implementation and integration of new, existing and emerging MineStar functionalities are meeting the business needs and requirements.
What you will do:
- Participate in the implementation, development and integration of new MineStar functionalities within the organizational structure.
- Track and record MineStar development needs; provide input or recommendations for enhancements or modifications to the organization's technology products.
- Collect and analyze information on MineStar functionalities and development tools for systems and applications, network and data, software and hardware.
- Participate in testing and evaluating MineStar functionalities during the selection process.
Skills:
Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems (MineStar) used for delivery of services to external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems’ functionalities in diverse situations.
Standard Operating Procedures: Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating and safety procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational safety and efficiency.
Application Delivery Process: Knowledge of major tasks, deliverables, and formal application delivery methodologies; ability to utilize these in order to deliver new or enhanced application functionalities.
System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases and technology platforms.
Basic requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
- Pre-Advanced English
Top candidates will also have:
- Fluent English
- Knowledge in MineStar
Additional Information:
- Requires flexibility to work on-site at client mining locations for approximately 50% of the time.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
