Description:The candidate will support the Business Development team responsible for the Missile Defense and Space Surveillance Radars portfolio.
This individual will primarily support growth objectives related to Lockheed Martin’s Scalable, Supportable, Software-Defined S-Band Radar (S4R) product family. The candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and shaping opportunities to capture new business with the US Government including Golden Dome for America, as well as International customers. This is a US-based role that will require domestic and international travel.
In addition to the duties above, this individual will support Radar growth by managing a pipeline of opportunities. This includes:
• Building and maintaining trusting and productive relationships with customers, influencers and key opinion leaders
• Proactive and responsive engagement with domestic and international customers and related stakeholders
• Performing market research and developing business cases to identify, qualify, and shape opportunities
• Developing and implementing capture strategies, analysis of competition, and win strategies
• Leading teams to respond to Requests for Information, Requests for Proposal, and other solicitations
• Contributing to product line and market segment strategic planning cycles
• Managing in-year and planning future-year new business funding
• Collaborating and coordinating with functional, LOB, and BA stakeholders
• Preparing and presenting opportunity reviews to stakeholders
• Other related duties as assigned by leadership
Basic Qualifications:• > 5 years in a customer-facing Business Development role
• Experience leading $0.5B+ campaigns as Business Development Lead or Capture Manager
• Established relationships with the US Missile Defense Agency
• Demonstrated ability to drive capture “Art of the Deal”
• Diplomatic, persuasive and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders
Desired Skills:• USG, FMS and DCS acquisition experience, including releasability, export licensing, and advocacy
• Recency: responsibility as lead for major proposal deliveries within the past 18 months
• Multi-disciplinary: prior Program Management, Engineering, and or Operational background with radar systems
• Initiative: self-motivated to work independently and with teams to drive tasks to closure within the bounds of mission requirements and resources
• Multi-tasking: able to manage multiple simultaneous deliverables in a fast-paced, high growth environment with fluctuating priorities and minimal guidance
• Resource stewardship: prior responsibility for new business funds > $1M / year
• Master’s degree in related discipline

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
