The Procurement Director will be responsible for leading the Procurement Operations team, with a focus on reporting, data management, Source to Pay (S2P) system support, process design, policy governance and compliance, as well as tactical buying.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Procurement processes (including Category Management) as well how to properly enable the team through the use of technology.
Pay: $140,000.00-$170,000.00.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of Procurement Policies, SOPs/Processes and Technologies
- Coordinate the design of efficient strategic sourcing processes in liaison with other functional stakeholders
- Develop and execute a multi-year procurement technology roadmap addressing Source to Pay (S2P), Contract Lifecycle Management, eSourcing and other enterprise solutions and other technologies within the Procurement tech stack
- Establish market research capabilities including a process of signaling pertinent economic drivers, market insights and cost and sourcing trends in support of the company’s category management strategies
- Manage the Procurement Technology Team:
- Business process administration of the Procurement Technologies (i.e. Smart by GEP, Coupa, Avetta, etc.)
- P2P Catalog Management and Maintenance
- Level 2 Helpdesk Support
- Assist in the development of the savings tracking and validation approach (via FP&A) by spend category
- Calculate and report on achieved savings vs. forecasted saving on a monthly basis
- Provide training to new and existing users of Procurement technologies and processes
- Develop strong working relationships with other members of the Procurement team and functions external to the Procurement Department
- Manage a team of buyers and P2P support specialists
- Support other special projects and procurement activities as needed
Minimum Education/Experience:
- Relevant business/technical degree
- 10 - 15 plus years of relevant experience with at least seven of those years in a Strategic Sourcing role or in a similar capacity
- Experience in a field services company or in a facility management role preferred
- Strong oral and written communication skills, highly organized, and excellent problem solving and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes/methods and systems (Coupa and/or BuySMART experience a plus)
- Excellent analytical and financial acumen
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to effectively lead/influence key stakeholders and motivate a team, partly from a distance
- Good presentation skills to achieve (business) acceptance of procurement practices and procedures, metrics, budgeting/forecasting routines and changes thereto
