The Microsoft Global Media Team is responsible for planning, activating and fiscally managing all media spend across Microsoft. The team works across a broad group of internal Microsoft products and business groups, driving business impact by leading the development of innovative and world-class media strategies designed to meet our stakeholders’ unique business goals. The team’s responsibilities extend to driving market intelligence and contributing to Microsoft’s media innovation across media channels and ad tech.

We’re building a Frontier Marketing organization that delivers integrated strategic end-to-end planning, execution, optimization and measurement across our paid and organic demand engines supporting Microsoft's Customer Solution Areas. To support this transformation, we are seeking a Paid Social Activation Manager who will be supporting Microsoft’s in-house, quick turn, paid social campaign activation. In this role, you will execute on paid media strategy with hands-on-keys activation in native publisher platforms and via tools like Sprinklr. The ideal candidate has hands on experience building, launching, optimizing, and reporting on paid social campaigns across all major social publisher platforms, including Meta, X, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn. They must have a growth mindset, be able to adapt to change, and be eager to innovate at the intersection of media, data, and technology.
Responsibilities
How you will be making an impact in this role:
Bringing high profile, business critical, quick turn campaigns to life through hands-on paid social activation, optimization, and reporting.
Actively monitoring campaigns for optimization opportunities across platforms, creative sets, audience segments, and bidding strategies.
Leveraging analytics to identify trends and learnings across audiences, placements, channels, ad sets/variants, and any additional variables that could impact campaign performance.
Proving agile, responsive, collaborative, and transparent communications internally and with internal and external business partners.
Qualifications
Thorough understanding of how to use native platform audience planning tools & suite of ad products including: Meta, X, Reddit, YouTube, LinkedIn, Snapchat, Pinterest, and TikTok
Advanced Excel skills, including but not limited to Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, etc. are a plus
Media IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
