Overview
The Part-Time Nurse position will provide, observe and assess and administer patient care as assigned.
Essential Functions
- Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
- Complies with all Nursing safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
- Monitor and report symptoms and changes in patient status.
- Collaborate with medical team on patient status.
Responsibilities
- Maintain complete and accurate patient records.
- Be able to do schedules and keep track of the nurses' hours.
- Prepare patients and assist with patient examinations as needed.
- Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Provide educational, emotional, and psychological support to patients.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations.
- Adhere to infection-control protocols.
- Follow medication administration and storage procedures and regulations.
- Monitor and co-ordinate maintenance of equipment operation and inventory.
- Educate and instruct patients as needed.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available
- Must be able to pass all required training to work in a nuclear power plant.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Register Nurse Degree from an approved nursing program.
- Current licensure by the relevant state nursing board.
- Certifications as required such as CPR.
- Relevant experience.
