Responsibilities:
KBR is seeking a Sr. Technical Advisor that will Provide technical support for oversight and management of developing Space Science & Technology programs. Support S&T Program Office future program development and execution. Provide systems analysis, technical assessments and recommendations. Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Support Annual Departmental – level Planning, Programming, and Budgeting to include the preparation of the President’s Budget, DoD POM process, and Congressional reporting.
- Support government assessment of the technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of S&T program deliverables
- Provide expertise in the operations and sustainment of space-enabled systems
- Provide insight into Ground- Space and Space-Space architectures, and their integration with other domains, to include understanding of mission user needs, operational environments and Combatant Command Requirements
- Support transition of S&T and RDT&E programs into Programs of Record
- Provide staffing expertise for developmental programs to include documentation of key science and technology (S&T) initiatives for PPBE activities, and highly sensitive staffing packages to the highest levels of OSD requiring appropriate level technical expertise.
- Drafts, reviews and edits program documentation IAW OSD, Service, Mission Partner and other authoritative guidance.
- Supports coordination of documentation between functional organizations and external agencies on S&T, and research and development functions. Coordination includes producing, tracking, and coordinating Memoranda of Agreements and technical transfer documentation necessary to transition seamlessly into a framework for acquisition and production, and organizing, training and equipping of capabilities.
- Supports and advises SAF/SQ acquisition and program management functions, advises on challenges, risks, and associated impacts to operational delivery, as required.
Required:
Active DoD TS/SCI clearance.
BS in STEM related field
15 yrs in Space Technology, Acquisition, Policy or Governance.
Senior level staffing and coordination expertise and experience.
Special Access Program experience
