The Workday Education team develops and delivers engaging and innovative learning solutions to help customers, partners, and employees make the most of the Workday platform.
The Integrations / Extend team focuses on teaching development tools that allow Workday to integrate with other systems, as well as using Workday Extend to build custom applications on top of the Workday technology platform.
About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead full days of training in English to audiences that can include customers, partners, and Workmates.
- Use dynamic presentation skills to engage your students and improve their learning experience.
- Engage and stay informed on software and product updates. Use self-learning resources to quickly become proficient in new product features and functionality.
- Perform administrative tasks for classes you are conducting.
Travel: Occasional travel may be required
Location: Heredia, Costa Rica
About You
You are a dynamic individual with a strong passion for training and helping others connect technical concepts to practical applications. You should excel at simplifying concepts, procedures, and sophisticated technical information. You are curious about how things work and love solving puzzles. You should have a firm understanding of web development principles and web services.
You enjoy bridging the gap between a technical topic and functional users. You possess excellent communication and organization skills. You find joy in teaching or certifying others using virtual training technologies whether it be customers, partners, or employees.
Basic Qualifications
- 3 + years of software development or integrating systems with third-party service vendors, ideally with Human Resource, Payroll or Financial ERP application software.
- Experience with web development or web services development (SOAP or REST) or one or more of the following integration technologies: XML, XSLT, XPATH, JSON.
- Advanced/Professional communication in English.
Other Qualifications
- Experience delivering content to functional and technical audiences. Must be able to present to large groups of 20+ people using a variety of delivery methods, for 4-8 hours per day.
- Demonstrated proficiency of scripting skills (Python / REACT / JavaScript / Java.)
- Demonstrated proficiency in communicating complex concepts in a concise, logical manner.
