Job Summary
The Principal Researcher, Talent Intelligence is a key member of Comcast’s Executive Research & Talent Intelligence team. This role delivers high-impact talent research, labor market insights, and competitive intelligence that inform enterprise-wide decisions related to hiring strategy, workforce planning, talent development, and organizational design.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role serves as a trusted thought partner to Executive Search, Global Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Learning & Development, HR Business Partners, and business leaders, proactively identifying external talent risks and opportunities and translating complex market signals into clear, actionable insights that support enterprise-level decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Job Description
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Executive Search and Talent Acquisition to shape search strategies, inform role design, and deliver market maps and research relevant to critical and leadership roles.
- Conduct proactive and research-driven talent sourcing and market scanning to support leadership pipeline development, executive calibration discussions, and long-term talent strategy.
- Conduct comprehensive labor market research, supply/demand modeling, competitive benchmarking, and talent landscape assessments to guide hiring strategies, workforce planning, and capability-related decisions.
- Monitor industry, competitor, and labor market trends to proactively identify emerging talent risks, opportunities, and business implications, surfacing insights without waiting for formal requests.
- Own the delivery of high-impact Talent Intelligence outputs that directly inform enterprise workforce, hiring, and organizational decisions.
- Develop and deliver concise, executive-ready narratives, presentations, dashboards, and reports that explain market dynamics, highlight risks and opportunities, and offer practical recommendations.
- Utilize and enhance a suite of standardized Talent Intelligence products, ensuring consistent, scalable delivery of insights to internal partners.
- Support the creation and refinement of research frameworks, templates, and methodologies that enable a repeatable and efficient intelligence delivery model across the enterprise.
- Ensure accurate and appropriate use of labor market tools, research systems, and analytics platforms, maintaining a high standard of data quality.
- Collaborate with Talent Management, Learning & Development, and HR teams to bring external intelligence into internal planning, talent development discussions, and organizational strategy conversations.
- Maintain strong alignment with stakeholders to ensure Talent Intelligence insights remain relevant to evolving business priorities.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience within Talent Acquisition, Talent Intelligence, Executive Research, or related functions, with demonstrated strength in market analysis, data interpretation, and insight storytelling.
- Hands-on experience creating clear, executive-friendly visualizations and dashboards using data visualization and reporting tools.
- Experience delivering insights that influence decisions beyond Talent Acquisition, such as workforce planning, organizational design, or location strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous environments, framing unclear business questions, working with imperfect data, and balancing proactive insight generation with stakeholder-driven requests.
- Strong technical fluency across Microsoft Office, productivity tools, recruiting platforms, and analytics systems.
- Highly independent contributor who approaches problems with sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the confidence to challenge assumptions.
- Proven ability to engage, influence, and guide senior stakeholders through complex discussions related to priorities, scope, and business needs.

RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE
7+ years of relevant experience in talent intelligence, labor market research, market insights, executive search research, Talent or HR analytics, consulting, or related analytical fields.
