Role Overview:
- Document technical data generated by assigned projects consistent with engineering policies and
- procedures.
- Provide an engineering support to shop on various activities such as departure record, field,, productivity projects, section metrics tracking, cost reduction activities.
- Support to execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhere to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate student in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They are proficient in engineering tools like UG NX and ANSYS, have experience in design reviews, hardware releases, and test support, and demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate (year 3/4), Master, PHD students of Aeronautics, Astronautics, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering departments.
- Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing).
- Good command of MS Office Skills (especially MS Excel and MS Power point).
- Eager to learn, open to communication, self-motivated.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Team player and collaborative
- Strong interest in growing technical career
- Basic understanding of gas turbine engines
- Motivated to learn new disciplines as required (thermal design, airfoils and rotating hardware design etc.)
- Fundamental understanding of mechanical design (statics, strength of materials, dynamics etc.)
- Have basic understanding of at least one finite element tool (e.g. ANSYS, Nastran, etc.)
- Have basic understanding of at least one modelling tool (e.g. Unigraphics, Solidworks etc.)
- Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn
- Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively
- Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed
- Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative
- Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker
- Skills with CAD/CAE software (NX/Ansys or other commercial software).
