The Pratt & Whitney Mature Commercial Engines Aftermarket (MCEA) organization is responsible for providing a broad range of aftermarket services to support our customers and MRO facilities worldwide across our product lines.
This includes creating and sustaining a global MRO network of service providers, providing integrated material solutions, executing and optimizing our fleet maintenance contracts and generating growth and profitability through the development of enhanced offerings and capability improvements that provide customer value and deliver improved cost performance and speed of service.
Within MCEA, the Aftermarket Forecasting & Induction Planning team is responsible for both fleet wide strategic planning and management of contractual obligations between our engine overhaul shops and P&W.
What You Will Do:*

Forecasting fleet size, engagement with customer intelligence teams, engine overhaul shops visits, flying hours and related information for the worldwide commercial engine fleets. These forecasts and analyses are then used to drive critical resource and investment decisions across PW and RTX, and as a result this role and team has engagement with senior leadership and interface on executive messaging/reporting.

The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership and initiative to solve complex customer and maintenance center problems, use their financial and operational acumen for effective decision making, apply strategic thinking to achieve business targets, while managing a high volume of operational day-to-day needs.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Maintain engine induction plans and coordinate logistics and maintenance activity with our global network of MRO facilities
-
Provide direction and leadership for the team to be able to provide support to address critical maintenance center and customer issues
-
Gain and sustain understanding of fleet-specific variables (and potential variables) that could impact projected shop visits and workscopes; this may include technical issues, customer decisions and macro-economic factors
-
Provide direct input to the Aftermarket Material Planning and Financial Planning processes
-
Develop and implement continuous improvement plans to ensure world-class planning processes are in place
-
Investigate and manage data sources, with a focus on data quality

Identify and drive continuous improvement in induction planning tools & processes
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of cross functional teaming experience to include external customer support and problem solving skills OR
-
Advanced degree and 7 years of cross functional teaming experience to include external customer support and problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Knowledge of Pratt & Whitney engine products and MRO Aftermarket operations preferred
-
A fundamental understanding of gas turbine engines, airline operations and engine maintenance practices
-
Understanding of commercial airline operations & aftermarket business
-
Strong communication, influencing, presentation and data management/analysis skills
-
Proven leadership skills coupled with a history of attaining results through influence and collaboration

Prior experience as a supervisor/leader of a team of professional employees

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
