Your Opportunity to Make an Impact
As a Graduate Structural Engineer in KBR’s Maritime team, you’ll launch your career working on real projects from day one. You’ll be supported by experienced engineers who will guide your development and help you grow into a future technical leader.
You’ll contribute to the design of wharves, jetties, seawalls, piers and pontoons across Australia and internationally. If you’re passionate about steel and concrete design, this role offers a unique pathway to build highly sought‑after maritime engineering skills. No prior maritime experience is required—just a willingness to learn and a drive to take on new challenges.
Based in our Brisbane Maritime Centre of Excellence, you’ll work on major infrastructure projects spanning Defence, commercial ports and emerging sectors such as hydrogen. You’ll also have opportunities to build your local presence, collaborate with clients and gain exposure across Queensland.
From concept design through to detailed design and construction, you’ll help deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients’ needs. Our self‑guided graduate program gives you the freedom to shape your own development, explore your interests and grow your career in the direction that excites you most. Regular training and hands‑on experience will set you up with strong technical foundations and leadership potential.
Beyond project work, you’ll connect with peers nationwide through our IMPACT Program, giving you access to social events, industry engagement and a supportive network of young professionals shaping the future.
